CGM launches history-inspired COVID-19 campaign

As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Casa Gorordo Museum (CGM) launched a campaign to incite public to observe COVID-19 mitigation measures.  The campaign features different Filipino historical figures encouraging the people to follow COVID-19 regulations such as the Cebuano hero Lapu-lapu wearing a mask.

“It is meant to inspire people to observe regulations that fight the spread of COVID-19 using hero figures,” said Florencio Moreño II, the curator of CGM. “One of the aspects that the museum is working on in terms of its COVID-19 response is in the area of public communication. We feel that it is our duty as a public-oriented organization to help in the multi-sectoral effort to beat COVID-19,” he added.
